It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Stephen Lemoya Ole Mpesha on 8th January 2012 at the Nairobi hospital after a long illness braverly borne. He was a Retired Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police, Chief Firearms Licensing Officer, Central Firearms Bureau and Former Public Service Commissioner (DCO), OGW.

 

Son of the late Petro Mpesha Ole Kipenu and the late Naomi Mpesha. Husband of Jeniffer Mumbi Mpesha.

 

Father of Sylvester Sanaet Mpesha & Candy Sanaet Mpesha (NSSF), Eric Parsitau Mpesha (Washington DC) & Cardia Mwadeghu (Parliament), Clement Malley Mpesha (Wheelmans Motors) & Bertha Malley Mpesha (Nation Media Group), Wilson Sokoine Mpesha (Marist University ), Patrick Mwangi (Boston )& Mercy Mwangi (Australia).

 

Brother of the late Dorcas Parmuat, the late Wilson Mpesha, Josephine Naisenya and Jesse Parsaloi Limpesha. Son-in- law of the late Mr & Mrs Joshua Kamoni. Grandfather to Natasha, Wendy, Soraya and Tetian.

 

Uncle of Eunice$Gladys Parmuat, Robert Kamau, Moses Mpesha( Chief Ololua), Silas Limpesha (Real Africa) Salphares (London), Sitonik (J Cross) among others. In-law of Beatrice Limpesha, the Late Ephantus Maina Kamoni, Mbono’s (MOLO) Chemgorem’s (Nakuru), Mwandeghu’s (Taita), Mbugua’s (Banana Hill), Beatrice Kamoni Kisorai.

 

Friends and relatives are meeting at his residence in Olepolos Ngong for prayers and funeral arrangments.

 

The cortege leaves Umash funeral home on Tuesday, 17th January 2012 at 9am, for a requiem mass at St Joseph Catholic Church Ngong, followed by burial at his home in Olepolos on the same day.

 

In God’s hands you rest, in our hearts you live forever – AMEN
