The family of thee Paxson Kamau Muchunu would like to announce that his full life came to a peaceful end on 3rd January 2012 at the age of 100 years. Mzee Kamau Muchunu hailed from Githima Sub-location of Kigumo District Murang'a County. A retired long serving clinical officer who served in various parts of this country will be dearly missed by his family and community at large. Son of the late Muchunu wa Kanyi and the late wambui Muchunu. Husband of the Late Beth Wambui Kamau and Jane Wanjiku Kamau.
Brother of the late Githinji Muchunu, The late Wilkinson Njoroge, The late Githae Muchunu, The late Robert Njuguna, The late Elishiba Wanjeri, The late Roxana Muthoni and The Late Muria Kiguru.
Father of Hon. Jamleck Karnau. (MP Kigumo Constituency), John Muchunu, Rosemary Waithaka, Fridah Ngigi, Bernedette Mwaniki, James Muchunu, The Late Nathan Ngonjo, Anne Kahuro, Marylene Wambui, Catherine Karnau, Evanson Githinji (USA), Joyce Kinandu, Daniel Mbogo, Elijah Karagu (USA), Stephen Githinja, Wanjiku Macharia, Hildah Wanjeri, Julia Kinandu, Roxanne Karongo (USA), Joan Maina (USA) and Kenneth Kamau .

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his Gatune home in Kigumo and at Sr Andrews PCEA church Nairobi today & tomorrow from 5.30proThere will be a memorial service today, Thursday the 12th January at St. Andrews PCEA Church from 2-3pm
The cortege leaves Urnash Funeral home at 8:00am on Saturday the 14th January 2012 for funeral service at Githima Primary School grounds from 11:00am and thereafter burial will be held at his farm in Gatune village, Githima Sub- location, Kigumo District Muranga county on the same day.
