It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Joshua Hardy Okuthe in Nairobi on Sunday 5th July 2009. He was the Chairman of Kenya National Sports Council and a re- knowned sportsman.
He was the Son of the late Charles and late Rev. Lucia Okuthe. Loving husband of Ruth Florence Okuthe and father of Yvonne and Belinda. Step-son of Mama Elizabeth Oyugi, Mama Theresa Oyugi, Mama Alice Omoro and Mama Caroline Oduol.
Brother of the Willis Okuthe, Charles Okuthe and Deborah Odhiambo. Brother in law of Joy Okuthe, late Judy Okuthe and Fredrick Fanuel Odhiambo. Uncle of Charles Okuthe, James Okuthe Sserwanga, Hope Okuthe Opande amongst others.

Fundraising will be held at the All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday, 8th of July 2009 at 5.00 p.m.
Friends and Relatives are meeting daily at his residence on Muhoya Avenue, No. 73 Lavington.
There will be a funeral service at the All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, 9th of July 2009 at 4.00 p.m. Thereafter, an overnight vigil at his residence on Muhoya Avenue, No. 73 Lavington.
Joshua’s remains will be cremated on Friday, 10th July, 2009 at 11.00 a.m at Langata Crematorium in a private ceremony of friends and relatives.
