It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the death of James Kiprop Bett - Chairman of Emo Community Development Society, which occurred on 18th April, 2009 following a road accident on 13th April, 2009.
Husband of Victoria Jepkemoi Soti Bett (National Spinal Injury Hospital). Father of Daisy Jeptoo (Sing’ore Girls), Robert Kipleting, Abigael Jerotich, Deborah Jelimo, (All of Makini Primary School), Sammy Kimaru, Joshua Toweet and Amani Jepkosgei.
He was brother of Judah Bett, Abraham Bett, Jonathan Bett, the late Micah Bett, Leah Limo and Elizabeth Maru. Son-in-law of Mjr. Rtd & Mrs Charles Chesire. In-law of Rael Bett, Emmy Bett, David Limo, John Maru, Martin (Geneva), Jude (Post Bank), Cyril (KTN) and Geraldine. Uncle/Cousin of Yama’s of Sarura and Kositany’s of Kabobo Farm.
Fundraising
There will be a major fundraising to offset medical bill, funeral expenses and support the family today, Wednesday, 22nd April,2009 at Panafric Hotel, Nairobi starting at 5.30 pm.
Church Service
A church service will be held tomorrow, Thursday, 23rd April, 2009 at Nairobi Pentecostal Church Valley Road, beginning at 12.00 noon.
Viewing and Funeral Service
The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday, 24th April, 2009 for church service and viewing of the body at AIC Fellowship Eldoret at 11.00 am. Thereafter the body leaves for overnight stay at his home. The burial will take place on Saturday, 25th April, 2009 at his Farm Sosiani Scheme (Leseru) beginning 9.00 am.
