In Remembrance of Dr. Michie Chege Gitau

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Dr. Michie Chege Gitau after a tragic road accident on November 17th 2011.

Son of the late Peter Gitau Kamuiru and Racheal Njeri of Mangu-Kirai. Husband of Dr. Mary Muringi of USA. Father of Njeri, Gitau and Gatheru. Brother of Hon. Kamuiru Gitau, late Roy Kamuru, Monica Njogu, Kinyanjui Gitau, Nyambura Kamuiru and Wanjiru Roy. Son-in-law of late Habre Gatheru and Lydia Wamuyu. Brother-in-law of John Waigi, Anderson Gatheru, Jane Wanjugu, Grace Nyaguthii and Rose Waceke.

Uncle of Dr. Njeri Mwaura, Gitau Kamuiru, Wambui Otemo, Wanjiku Nyaga, Wangari Kibuga, Wambui Michino, Njeri Kinyanjui, Waweru Kamuiru, Njeri Njogu, Nduta Kinyanjui, Gitau Roy and Ciku Kinyanjui.

Kenya Meeting

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at St. Andrews Church from 5.30pm, at his parent’s home Mangu-Kirai and at Hon. Kamuiru’s residence in Karen.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday, 29^th November 2011 at 9.00 am for funeral service and burial at Mang’u, Kirai Village, Gatundu North, Kiambu County.

Baltimore Meeting

Friends, family and well wishers will be meeting daily for prayers and support at the Gitau family home at 7 Quiet Sunset Ct, Baltimore MD 21221, daily from 6pm.

Memorial Service

Memorial service and fundraiser will be held on: November 26, 2011 at 9600 Pulaski Park Dr. Suite 115, Middle river MD 21220. Time: 4:00PM
