It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Bernard Ngugi Mungai managing Director Benningways Insurance Brokers and Chairman Board of Governor Mungu-ini Secondary School, which occurred on 28th August 2010 after short illness. He was the son of late Zakayo Mungai Goni and Late Joyce Wathira Mungai (Yaya) of Gichugu Komu Village Murang’a South District Margua Division. Husband to Lucy Njeri Ngugi (K.C.B Eastleigh Nairobi), Jane Ruguru Ngugi (Benningways Insurance Brokers Murang’a) and Eliketah Waichagaki Ngugi of Benningways Insurance Brokers Nairobi.
Father to Faith Watheri (Kansas USA), Anthony Mungai (Delware USA), Ken Njenga (Kansas USA), Eric Nyutu (Kansas USA), Kevin Ruoro of pioneer School Maragua and Lucklan Mungai of Green Cottage Murang’a. Brother of Late Francis Nyutu, Mary Muthoni Maina of Kiria-ini, Late Beatrice Wanjiku Julius, James Ngigi of Nairobi, David Mwaura of Mombasa, Eunice Njoki of Kikuyu, Nancy Wamwari Mung’arika of Ranusi (Mombasa) and late Joseph Gitau. Brother-in- law of Alice Kalekkye Nyutu of Tambui Bar(Mombasa).
Family, relative and friends are meeting daily at 6:30 p.m. at Murang’a, Mukawa and at his residence Kongu-ini Mukuyu. The cortege leaves Murang’a Districh Hosipital mortuary at 9:00 am on Friady 3rd September 2010 for funeral service at Mungui-ini A.C.K Church ground Gichugu village.
Thereafter the burial to take place at his late father’s home(Komu Village Ichagaki Maragua).
